Jeffrey Walters D.D.S.

Dr. Jeff Walters graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1994 and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry with High Distinction in 1997. He and his wife DeAnn moved here that summer and he began practicing at Cumberland Family Dental shortly thereafter. Dr. Walters is an active member in the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association and attends the Minnesota  Dental Association meeting annually. Through these associations he has taken many continuing education classes involving esthetic dentistry, endodontics, restorative treatments and materials, diagnosis and treatment planning, implant dentistry, bruxism, TMJ disorders, pediatric dentistry and prevention. Dr. Walters' philosophy is to offer the highest quality of dental care with the utmost focus on involving the individual in the education and care of their oral health.

Dr. Walters has served as a board member with Kinship of Cumberland and the GAP, is a past council member of Augustana Lutheran Church, has been involved with the Boy and Cub Scouts and was a member of Kiwanis.  He lives in Cumberland with his wife DeAnn and their dog Finn.  Together they have  two children , Steph and Nick, who are actively following in their fathers footsteps pursuing their dream of becoming dentists themselves   In his free time, Dr. Walters enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling.

Erin Lehmann D.D.S.

I am very fortunate that I love my job as a dentist. I look forward to going to the office each day to see the people I work with and the patients I treat. Being a general dentist allows me to treat all members of a family and practice all areas of dentistry. The relationships I have formed with my patients are the best part of my job. I am honored to be a part of my patients lives while helping them improve and maintain their oral health.

Dr. Lehmann graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2004. She attends many education seminars and annual meetings of the Wisconsin and Minnesota Dental Associations and is an active member in the American Dental Association. Dr. Lehmann spent three years working with the Rural Health Dental Clinics of Wisconsin treating patients that are uninsured and that have access to care issues. This experience also brought her into elementary schools in our region to help with preventive care and education of Wisconsin Children.

Dr. Lehmann grew up in Cumberland, Wisconsin. She feels fortunate to live, work and raise her family in her hometown. Dr. Lehmann and her husband Aaron have two children, a son Miles and a daughter Charlie. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending all of her children's activities and getting out on the lake as much as possible in summer. 

HYGIENISTS

Cindy, RDH

Cindy has been with us at Cumberland Family Dental since 1991. She is a graduate of NWTC in Green Bay with a degree in dental hygiene. Cindy is married and has three Children. She grew up in Birchwood on a dairy farm with 11 siblings. In her free time Cindy enjoys spending time with family, gardening, country living and keeping active in her church.

Joan, RDH

Joan has worked in the dental field for almost 40 years. She started out as a dental assistant in 1984. She went on to receive her RDH in 1989 from Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MN and joined Cumberland Family Dental that fall. 

Joan and her husband, Al, have one married son and three precious grandchildren. They enjoy life in the north woods with a campfire after a day on the lake cruising, swimming, and water skiing. When on solid ground, Joan can occasionally be found hiking the Ice Age Trail with friends.

Jennie, RDH

Jennie graduated from Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN. She has been a hygienist with Cumberland Family Dental since 2004. Jennie is married and has 3 children and 2 dogs whom she loves spending time with. In her free time she enjoys camping and boating.

Lauren, RDH

Lauren joined Cumberland Family Dental in 2020. She graduated from Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN with her degree in dental hygiene. Lauren and her husband, Caleb, reside in Cumberland with their two dogs and two cats. Outside of the dental office Lauren enjoys spending time on the lake boating with her family. 

OFFICE STAFF

Ann

Ann is one of the first people to welcome you to the office.  Ann  joined Cumberland Family Dental in 2022 and works as one of our receptionists. After teaching elementary education for 36 years she retired and relocated to the Cumberland area.  She loves to spend time with her family and friends.  Ann also enjoys being outdoors on the lake, cooking, and shopping. 

Taylor, Front Desk

Taylor is one of the first people to welcome you to the office. She joined Cumberland Family Dental in 2023 and works as one of our receptionists. Taylor graduated from Rice Lake High School in 2016 and currently resides in Rice Lake with her  two cats -Frankie and Felix. Taylor enjoys spending time with her family and friends when she's not at the office. 

Jen, Office Manager

Jen began her career in the dental field in 2015 and that is when her love for all things dental sparked. She has always had a passion for helping other people. As office manager, Jen strives to go above and beyond to ensure that our patients have the best care possible.

Jen lives in Cumberland with her husband Jacob and their four children, Jax, Alex, Addison and Haven. When she is not at the office you can usually find her at one her kid's sporting events. In her free time, Jen enjoys spending as much time as she can with their extended families, hiking and kayaking. 

ASSISTANTS

Brenda

Brenda has been a dental assistant at our office since 1995. She has two children and three grandchildren. Brenda loves golfing, biking, running, and spending time with family and friends.

Kathy

Kathy has been a dental assistant with Cumberland Family Dental since 1990. She has three sons and one daughter in-law. Kathy grew up farming with her family just outside of Cumberland. She enjoys horseback riding, walking and spending time with family and friends.

Crystal

Crystal joined Cumberland Family Dental in 2023. She graduated from Century College and has been an assistant since 2005. Herself and her two children reside in Lorain. When Crystal isn't in the office you can find her hunting, fishing or spending time in her garden. She also loves canning.
